This place has a huge variety of authentic, freshly made Dominican food. Prices are great and there's plenty of seating for dining in. They welcome you in the warm Latino way you'd expect from a relative and take care of your every dietary want.
One of the best spots for comfort food around this area. Very affordable and you can leave with a-lot of food for less. The rice is always seasoned to perfection and the empanadas are very tasty as well. It got the right flavor and crunch. The service is always warming. Its a decent size store with some seating.
Ordered the pepper steak with rice ... amazing the steak was tender and packed with flavor I ordered online through door dash so idk how it looks inside but the food was good
PROS 1. Sancocho was Perfectly Delicious. 2. Chivo Guisado was SUPER Delicious and had a spicy kick! 3. Rice was cooked well. 4. The Food Display is pretty neat. 5. I'm glad their on UBER EATS!! 6. Nice Server/Cashier. 7. Mofongo with Chivo Guisado was Delicious and for $17.00 CONS 1. They don't make Majarete. 2. They are not Downtown Jersey City.... :(
I would say that's my fourth time or fith time they have good food I can't lie she was always been nice to me all the time but I went this morning for some reason she was so harsh on me and was pressuring me it makes me feel bad I didn't like the way she was talking to me for now I'll stop coming I'll go somewhere that's how I feel.
